About Atida

Our Mission

The Atida Association was established in 2020 and operates among Ultra-Orthodox women programmers. The association aims to promote ultra-Orthodox women and provide them with economic, career, and educational opportunities that are usually not available to them. Atida provides these women with the opportunity to gain meaningful experience in the defense high-tech industry, maintaining the security of the state without compromising their ultra-Orthodox lifestyle.
In order to realize this goal, Atida emphasizes the development of job skills, meaningful and comprehensive training, social and cultural adjustment and the creation of opportunities for these women.

Our

Background

Established in 2020, the Atida Association is at the forefront of empowering women programmers within Ultra-Orthodox communities

Our primary goal is to enhance the economic well-being of Ultra-Orthodox society through the advancement of women, enabling their seamless integration into the defense high-tech sector without compromising their Ultra-Orthodox values. To accomplish this, Atida places a strong emphasis on skill development, comprehensive training, social and cultural integration and the creation of pathways to success.

One of our most significant
 partnerships is with the IDF

Collaboratively, we work towards the seamless integration of Ultra-Orthodox women into security technology roles, carefully balancing the needs of both the women and the army. Our association provides essential training in cultural adaptation within the workplace and aligns expectations to foster a better understanding of this unique environment. This work allows women to amass invaluable experience, facilitating their entry into the employment market, while simultaneously aiding the IDF in filling critical personnel gaps.

In addition to our partnership with the IDF, Atida collaborates with the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Finance, public figures and respected rabbis from the Ultra-Orthodox community.
